TPO

TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) – TPO roof sheets are reinforced and contain UV stabilizers, fillers, pigments and flame retarders
TPO membranes are a heat-weldable blend of polypropylene and ethylene propylene rubber components, which gives them more flexibility in colder temperatures.
TPO membranes are available in white, gray and tan, in a variety of thicknesses and typically carry a 20-year warranty.
TPO can be installed in two different ways: mechanically attached or fully adhered.

Features

Benefits

TPO roofing systems are becoming very popular for their high resistance to UV Rays particularly in warmer climates.
With the ability to reflect nearly 87 percent of harsh sun rays away from a roof, a TPO roofing system can help reduce cooling with the added benefit of being resistant to environmental pollutants and chemicals, abrasions, tears, and punctures, making it highly versatile.
TPO provides LEED credit qualification, and some TPO membranes are Energy Star rated and Cool Roof Rating Council approved.
